Baseball Recap: St. Bernard Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for St. Bernard's offense. They came up short against the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats on Monday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

St. Bernard now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Norwich Free Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Bernard will face off against East Lyme at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Norwich Free Academy, they will take on Enfield at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
