Cave Spring came out on top against Patrick Henry on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Knights blew past the Patriots 12-2. The contest marked the Knights' most dominant win of the season.

Cave Spring got a massive performance out of Evan Lee, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Young, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Cave Spring is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Patrick Henry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cave Spring will head out to square off against Christiansburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Patrick Henry, they will venture away from home to challenge James River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
