Baseball Recap: Central Texas Christian Comes Up Short

Central Texas Christian managed to slip by Lutheran the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions came up short against the Mustangs on Monday, falling 9-3. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 13-11.

Central Texas Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Good, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Central Texas Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lutheran, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

As of now, neither Central Texas Christian nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
