Baseball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to the Greyhounds when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lincoln Park Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-10.

Westwood has already played their next match (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln Park Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Port St. Lucie on the 28th.
