It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Meade had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 84-49 win over the Glen Burnie Gophers. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meade's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keon Scott led the charge by dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten assists. Scott has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Ashton Turman was another key player, shooting 62% from the field on his way to 21 points and five boards.

Scott wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Meade was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meade pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.2 points over those games. As for Glen Burnie, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 16-8 record.

Meade didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-49 win against Leonardtown on the 8th. Glen Burnie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
