Oasis had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 7-10 to make it four. They fell just short of the Southwest Florida Christian Kings by a score of 11-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in February.

Sophia Hall was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Marisol Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
As for Southwest Florida Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.
On Southwest Florida Christian's side, Jada Dimaria and Braelyn Davis made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Dimaria tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Davis pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits. At the plate, Dimaria got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Davis got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Dimaria has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Bella Gee was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Kaitlyn McGee was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Oasis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Port Charlotte on the 22nd. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they will face off against Babcock at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Kings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trailblazers have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
