Glenbard West had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Fremd Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Glenbard West who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 14-25, 25-20.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Fremd, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-4.
