North Pontotoc won against Mooreville last Thursday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The North Pontotoc Vikings put the hurt on the Ingomar Falcons with a sharp 16-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

North Pontotoc's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Ingomar, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Pontotoc will head out to face off against Booneville at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday. Booneville will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something North Pontotoc surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ingomar, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hickory Flat at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th. Ingomar is facing Hickory Flat at the right time seeing as Hickory Flat is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
