Soccer Recap: Lower Richland Takes a Loss

Lower Richland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Wilson Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wilson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on April 2nd.

Lower Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Wilson, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Lower Richland will square off against Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lower Richland are facing Lakewood at the right time seeing as Lakewood are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Wilson, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hartsville on the 1st.
