Basketball Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. Magnificat Blue Streaks

The Solon Comets will square off against the Magnificat Blue Streaks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Solon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Saturday, Solon didn't have too much trouble with Aurora as they won 63-49.

Meanwhile, Magnificat waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 63-51. Given the Blue Streaks' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Pioneers are ranked 33rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Solon's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. As for Magnificat, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
