Sussex Tech is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Cape Henlopen on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Sussex Tech was beaten by Cape Henlopen 59-21. The match marked the Ravens' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Delmar faced Indian River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The game between Delmar and Indian River didn't end well, with Delmar falling 33-19. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Delmar's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Sussex Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Sussex Tech strolled past Delmar in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 35-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sussex Tech since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
