Softball Recap: Pinellas Park Takes a Loss

Pinellas Park suffered their closest loss since April 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Largo Packers by a score of 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Packers: they've now lost three in a row.

Pinellas Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Auhbree Northrup, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Pinellas Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Largo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinellas Park will challenge Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Largo, they will square off against Canterbury at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
