Football Game Preview: Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats vs. Wicksburg Panthers + How To Watch

The Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats will square off against the Wicksburg Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Trinity Presbyterian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Northside Methodist Academy 49-13. With the Wildcats ahead 42-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Trinity Presbyterian found their leader in freshman Land Sharpless, who threw for 164 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes. Those four passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Sharpless. Another player making a difference was Brandon Boswell, who gained 88 total yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Wicksburg entered their tilt with Alabama Christian Academy on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 28-23 W against the Eagles.

Trinity Presbyterian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Wicksburg, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Trinity Presbyterian against Wicksburg in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 40-0 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
