Volleyball Game Preview: Sheldon Huskies vs. Laguna Creek Cardinals

The Sheldon Huskies will face off against the Laguna Creek Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Sheldon turned things around against Franklin on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 21-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Laguna Creek entered their tilt with Monterey Trail on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs.

While Laguna Creek won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 29-27, 25-21.

Laguna Creek's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. As for Sheldon, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
