Olympia is a perfect 8-0 against South Kitsap since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Olympia took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Yelm by a score of 20-13.

Ibrahima Diallo produced another solid effort rushing for 132 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 31 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Kitsap). They walked away with a 42-35 win over Rogers on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

South Kitsap's win came from a few key players Olympia will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Franklin Fox, who rushed for 189 yards and three scores while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Brayden Moore was in the mix too, providing South Kitsap with three TDs.

The victory got Olympia back to even at 4-4. As for South Kitsap, their record is now 5-3.

Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Diallo and Moore. Diallo just won't slow down this season and has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 78.6 rushing yards per game. Moore has been a dominant force too and has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 103.5 rushing yards per game.

Olympia took their win against South Kitsap when the teams last played back in September of 2023 by a conclusive 41-21 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wolves' Brycen Clay, who rushed for 126 yards on only 14 carries. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Bears to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
