Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Crimson Cliffs' Ninth in Last 11 Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Salem Hills, Crimson Cliffs was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northridge Knights, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since August 19th.

Lily Jones continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, getting 20 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Ilikea Garcia-Casey also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Crimson Cliffs has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Northridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Crimson Cliffs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Bingham on the 5th. As for Northridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Timpanogos on the 5th.
