Volleyball Recap: Apopka Blue Darters vs. Forest Lake Academy Panthers
Apopka won the last time they faced Forest Lake Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Apopka Blue Darters walked away with a 3-1 win over the Forest Lake Academy Panthers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Darters as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19.
Despite the loss, Forest Lake Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ethan Hazen had 14 digs. Hazen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last five games he's played.

The win got Apopka back to even at 3-3. As for Forest Lake Academy, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.

This will be Apopka's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Forest Lake Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
