Air Academy is a perfect 4-0 against Pueblo West since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Kadets will face off against the Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Air Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Evergreen 1-0. The win continues a trend for Air Academy in their matchups with Evergreen: they've now won seven in a row.

Air Academy's one-goal win came courtesy of Austin Alexander, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Pueblo West made sure to put some goals up on the board against Pueblo South on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Colts. Pueblo West might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

Air Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2. As for Pueblo West, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-3.

Air Academy beat Pueblo West 2-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kadets since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
