Basketball Game Preview: Stockbridge Tigers vs. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers

The Stockbridge Tigers will face off against the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Stockbridge has seven straight victories, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, everything went Stockbridge's way against McDonough as Stockbridge made off with a 65-43 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy took a blow against Jones County on Tuesday, falling 62-35. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 473rd, while the Greyhounds are ranked 39th).

Stockbridge pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.9 points. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Stockbridge didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2016, but they still walked away with a 56-50 win.
