Recap: Millsap Bulldogs vs. Peaster Greyhounds
The Millsap Bulldogs lost against the Peaster Greyhounds back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Millsap was outmatched by Peaster on the road and fell 72-33. While losing is never fun, Millsap can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1268th, while Peaster is ranked 509th).
Guerin Morgan and Tripp Moore certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Morgan scored 15 points, while Moore scored six points.
Millsap's defeat dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Peaster, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.
Millsap will be playing in front of their home fans against Brock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brock will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Millsap surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peaster, they will head out on the road to square off against Comanche at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Peaster is coming into the matchup with three straight victories on the road, meaning Comanche will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
