Thursday just wasn't the day for Shawnee Mission North's offense. They fell just short of Olathe South by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Shawnee Mission North have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Lawrence faced Mill Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Jaguars. The loss was Lawrence's first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Patrick Sandefur, who's now up to 16 this season.
