Basketball Game Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Grady Bronchos

Logan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Grady recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Logan Longhorns will challenge the Grady Bronchos at 6:30 p.m.

Logan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against Fort Sumner/House on Saturday. They took a blow against Fort Sumner/House, falling 53-25. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with Fort Sumner/House recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The losing side was boosted by Marilyn Moreno, who posted seven points and three blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grady). They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over Clovis Christian on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bronchos in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Grady's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Logan, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Everything came up roses for Logan against Grady in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 71-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Logan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
