Volleyball Recap: Moscow Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Pullman on Monday, Moscow came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Lakeland Hawks on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 25-23.

Jessa Skinner paced Moscow's offense, picking up 12 kills. Skinner got some help from Allison Dorigo and her 20 assists. Dorigo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Moscow now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Lakeland, they pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Moscow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Lewiston on the 18th. As for Lakeland, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Sandpoint on the 18th.
