Baseball Recap: Southeast Seminoles vs. Booker Tornadoes
Southeast suffered their closest defeat since April 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Booker Tornadoes by a score of 9-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 two weeks ago.
Jose Correa made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Kevin Miranda also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Southeast has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. Booker now has a winning record of 5-4.
