If Visitation Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Burroughs, they should've done a better job of containing Bailey Biggs. The Bombers came out on top against the Vivettes by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Biggs, who had 18 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Burroughs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-19, 25-15, 25-17.

Burroughs is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. As for Visitation Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Burroughs has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Whitfield on the 14th. Visitation Academy has also already played their next match (against Clayton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
