The matchup between Faith Christian and North White on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Vikings. Considering Faith Christian have won ten matches by more than three goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting North White from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Carter Hodgson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Faith Christian and bumps their season record up to 12-2. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 11-5 Benton Central (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 71.9% over those games). As for North White, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1.
