Fort Edward never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They didn't even let the North Warren Central Cougars on the board, marking the Flying Forts' second-straight 13-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-0 on Tuesday.

Bradie Tyler made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over five innings pitched. Tyler was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rue Quarters, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Felicity Columbetti was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Fort Edward has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.0 runs this season. As for North Warren Central, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
