Basketball Recap: City University School of Liberal Arts Drops Season-High Score on Sheffield

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask City University School of Liberal Arts). They breezed by the Sheffield Knights to the tune of 74-19 on Wednesday. With City University School of Liberal Arts ahead 49-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Anthony Carrick was a one-man wrecking crew for City University School of Liberal Arts as he went 5 for 8 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. Kevion Robertson was another key player, going 7 of 13 on his way to 15 points and eight boards.

City University School of Liberal Arts' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Sheffield, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. City University School of Liberal Arts will face off against Memphis School of Excellence Winchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. City University School of Liberal Arts is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season. As for Sheffield, they will take on Fairley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
