Volleyball Recap: Malden Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Malden lost against Bernie back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Green Wave fell 3-1 to the Mules.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 16-25, 25-19.

Leading Bernie to victory were Tatum Anthony and Kalli Mason. Anthony had 23 digs and three assists, while Mason had nine digs and six assists. Those six assists gave Mason a new career-high.

Malden's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-4-3. As for Bernie, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6-1.

Looking ahead, Malden will challenge Bloomfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bernie, they will take on Richland in a tournament on Thursday.
