Softball Recap: Columbia Gets the Win

The third road match was the charm for Columbia, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Richton Rebels by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

Columbia now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Richton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Columbia will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Grove will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Columbia surely won't give up without a fight. As for Richton, they will head out to square off against Bay Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
