Softball Recap: Tri-Township Tigers vs. Hebron Hawks

Sadly, Tri-Township is still looking for their first win of the season after four matchups. They fell victim to a tough 16-1 defeat at the hands of the Hebron Hawks on Monday. One positive for Tri-Township, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

For Hebron's part, Savanna Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

At the plate, Addison Toczek and Molly Friel did most of the damage at the plate: Toczek scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4, while Friel scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Toczek is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Michalak, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
