Glasgow took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Brookfield, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Yellowjackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Bulldogs on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Glasgow pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Brookfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coming up, Glasgow will challenge Slater at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Yellowjackets 3.1, the Wildcats 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Brookfield, they will face off against Salisbury at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
