Basketball Game Preview: Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles vs. Fredericksburg V Victory

Having just played yesterday, the Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Fredericksburg V Victory at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Covenant Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season.

On Thursday, Covenant Christian Academy earned a 45-37 victory over Chelsea Academy.

Covenant Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Candland, who posted 20 points. The matchup was Candland's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Alibaruho, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Fredericksburg V was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 69-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spirit HomeSchool. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (58), the Victory still had to take the loss.

Fredericksburg V's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-4.
