Soccer Game Preview: Yucaipa vs. Ramona

The Yucaipa Thunderbirds will head out to face off against the Ramona Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Yucaipa's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Yucaipa fell victim to Palm Springs and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The loss put an end to Yucaipa's undefeated start to the season.

Ramona hadn't beaten JW North on the road since December 13, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Rams skirted past the Huskies 2-1. Ramona wouldn't have won without Zahir Gonzalez, who scored the game-winner.

Ramona's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Yucaipa, they now have a losing record of 0-1-2.
