Baseball Recap: West Memphis Christian Comes Up Short

West Memphis Christian lost against Tunica Academy back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Black Knights lost 13-3 to the Blue Devils.

West Memphis Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Terry Sharp, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Sharp's first of the season.

West Memphis Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for Tunica Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While West Memphis Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
