Baseball Recap: Northeastern Clinton Comes Up Short

Northeastern Clinton lost against Saranac on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-3 to the Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northeastern Clinton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Wells, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Northeastern Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Saranac, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Northeastern Clinton will face off against Saranac Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Saranac, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Tupper Lake at 4:30 p.m.
