Garden Valley and Dietrich squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Garden Valley had to settle for second. They took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dietrich Blue Devils. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dietrich to victory, but perhaps none more so than Connor Perkins, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Perkins is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brody Torgerson, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards.

Garden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Dietrich, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

As of now, neither Garden Valley nor Dietrich have any future games scheduled.
