Basketball Recap: Medical Lake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Riverside last Tuesday, Medical Lake came back down to earth. The Medical Lake Cardinals lost 52-29 to the Colville Crimson Hawks on Thursday. The Cardinals have struggled against the Crimson Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Addison Hammel was Medical Lake's leading scorer, having posted six points. Hammel also led the team in assists with four. Jocee Bryant held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Medical Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Colville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Medical Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colville, they will head out to challenge Wapato at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
