Softball Recap: Conrad Weiser Takes a Loss

Conrad Weiser fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Lancaster Catholic on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 7-6. The Scouts just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Conrad Weiser's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Lancaster Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Conrad Weiser has already played their next game (against Daniel Boone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will face off against Octorara Area at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Braves have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
