Bonneville (1 - 7) has a chance to get its first conference win this week when it squares off against Box Elder (3 - 5) on Friday at 7:00 PM. Box Elder will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Bonneville defense that has allowed an average of 42.75 points per game.
Bonneville lost to Bountiful 27 - 14 last week. The team got a solid performance out of senior quarterback Andrew Kemp; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, the result of Box Elder's last game was disheartening but, based on national rankings, not too surprising. It ended the game a good deal behind East, falling 41 - 24. The loss came about despite a quality game from senior quarterback Dylan Rodriguez.
We'll see which team manages to turn its luck around when they battle it out this week.
