Lakeland Preparatory is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Milan a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Lakeland Preparatory, who have now won 13 contests by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Milan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adam Atkinson (4), Cris Ramos, and Sebastian Suarez.

Meanwhile, Stem Preparatory Academy was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Chargers who were credited with the victory. Stem Preparatory Academy got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Liberty Creek's one.

Lakeland Preparatory pushed their record up to 19-2-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those nine matches. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.
