Baseball Recap: Archbishop Alter Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Archbishop Alter's offense. They came up short against the Badin Rams on Friday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Archbishop Alter and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Badin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Alter will welcome Lehman Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Badin, they will be playing at home against Archbishop Hoban at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 2.8, the Knights 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
