Football Game Preview: Stevenson Bulldogs vs. Seton Catholic Cougars

The Stevenson Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Seton Catholic Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Stevenson has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Seton Catholic will arrive with three straight wins.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Stevenson and La Center had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs were outmatched by the Wildcats and fell 54-13. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Wildcats are ranked 84th).

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 51-6 victory over King's Way Christian. Considering the Cougars have won five contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Seton Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Stevenson was taken down by Seton Catholic 55-14 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
