Soccer Recap: Taft Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Taft kept a clean sheet against Marshall on Wednesday. They blew past the Marshall Rams 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

The win (which was Taft's ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those nine matches. As for Marshall, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Taft will face off against Holmes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshall, they will square off against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Marshall's offense will have their work cut out for them.
