Soccer Recap: South Lakes Takes a Loss

South Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Oakton Cougars, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, South Lakes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 281st, while Oakton are ranked 140th).

South Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Oakton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

As of now, neither South Lakes nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
