Basketball Recap: St. Mary's-Colgan Takes a Loss

St. Mary's-Colgan entered their matchup against Girard on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers took a 44-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Girard Trojans. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

St. Mary's-Colgan's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 16-2. As for Girard, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2-1.

As of now, neither St. Mary's-Colgan nor Girard have any future games scheduled.
