Basketball Recap: Milburn Comes Up Short

Milburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 33-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bowlegs Bison.

Milburn's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bowlegs, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Milburn Eagles take on the Achille Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bowlegs, they will square off against Calvin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bowlegs is facing Calvin at the right time seeing as Calvin is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
