Volleyball Recap: Stewartville Tigers vs. Red Wing Wingers
Stewartville came tearing into Wednesday's match with nine straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Red Wing Wingers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-0. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wingers, too.
Stewartville never let Red Wing on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11, 25-15.
Stewartville's offense was headlined by

Kylie Minnich, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from
Kaylee Lehrman and her 22 assists.
Reagan Mittelstadt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Stewartville pushed their record up to 25-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Red Wing, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-12.
Stewartville has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Byron on the 2nd. Red Wing does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
