Basketball Recap: Pearl-Cohn Comes Up Short

Pearl-Cohn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Southern Wake Academy Lions, falling 64-38.

Despite the loss, Pearl-Cohn still got an impressive performance from JaJuan Reed, who posted 12 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Javion Kinnard, who had ten points and five rebounds.

Pearl-Cohn now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Southern Wake Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Pearl-Cohn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 101-65 defeat against Mount Tabor on the 30th. As for Southern Wake Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-56 win against First Flight on the 4th.
