Basketball Recap: Heritage Hall Takes a Loss

Heritage Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Metro Christian Patriots. The Chargers lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 67-37 score last time.

Heritage Hall's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Metro Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Heritage Hall will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oklahoma Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Metro Christian also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Webster at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
